To spoil or not to spoil... THAT is the question!

As anyone who knows me already knows, I'm pretty much addicted to ABC's new show Revenge.  It's brilliantly and cleverly written, is well-acted (mostly!), has likeable characters (and ones who you wouldn't mind seeing dealt a painful blow every now and then, just because they deserve it!), is full of suspense and has cliffhangers that whack you sideways!  It's the story of a girl who moves to the Hamptons to exact revenge on the people who framed her father for a crime he didn't commit and in turn, ruined her life.  Little do these people know that she is not all she appears and needless to say... you quickly find out that you simply do not mess with her.  EVER.

I've not contained my excitement very well throughout the whole first season and have watched every cast interview available and read every review I can find, just to get the dirt on what is coming up.  Along the way, I've encountered a few spoilers, which haven't bothered me that much.  I figure if I go looking for it, I'm bound to spoil some things for myself, but having said that, I haven't a clue what will happen in the much-anticipated finale, simply because I refuse to read the articles which seem to indicate that they're about to give something BIG away!

This show has rekindled my love of ABC series and Dave and I are steadily working our way through Alias - me for the 3rd time, but the first time for Dave.  We're both loving it!  And I'm re-watching Brothers & Sisters on my way to and from work each day.  Well, I need something to while away the 4 hours of commuting time.

I'm incredibly jealous not to have teleportation abilities (is that a word?), because season 2 of Revenge is premiering this Sunday in the US!  Amy's sisters are as addicted as I am to the show, so I will have to live vicariously through them until such time as it reaches our shores.  But during my 'research', I came across an article this morning which had a link to a spoiler.  It simply said 'someone important will discover Em's true identity'.  For those of you who have never caught the show, this is BIG!  Her maintaining her cover up of her true identity is the glue that holds this entire show together at the moment.  That sentence was the link to the spoiler and it has taken all my willpower NOT to click on it!  And I won't.  Because as much as I want to know what happens, these shows wouldn't be as popular as they are if we were meant to go in search of the storylines before they aired.  So I will not give in and I will not ruin it for myself.

But MAN, it's hard!

With all of my enthusiasm for all things TV and films, I should have been a Hollywood agent!  Oh... and I want to go and live in Universal Studios in Hollywood.  Just saying.
